Chrisian holds degrees in Church History (MA) and Theology (MA) from Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary and a Ph.D. in Historical and Theological Studies (Union Presbyterian Seminary) where he completed his dissertation on the life and thought of Jonathan Edwards.  His current research focuses on the wartime context of many of Edwards's sermons.  Furthermore, he has served in the US Army (reserves) as both an enlisted soldier and a chaplain as well as a chaplain for the Kenyan Olympic Team.  He has had the opportunity to study as a visiting student at Harvard Divinity School and presented at Queen's College, Oxford.  He is ordained in the Christian and Missionary Alliance, an online adjunct professor in Systematic Theology at Alliance Theological Seminary, has taught at the Baptist School of theology Novi Sad (Serbia), and currently serves as the senior pastor for Bakerstown Alliance Church (PA).
